WHO: 160 participants including senior representatives from the government agencies, development agencies, private sectors, civil society, persons with disabilities and UNDP Cambodia.

WHEN: December 11-12, 2018, at 08:30 am

WHERE: Phnom Penh Hotel, Phnom Penh

WHY: 2018 is the final year of the current National Disability Strategic Plan (NDSP) and it is timely and universally relevant to develop the new Strategic Plan with its main objective to improve the quality of life for persons with disabilities while the theme of this year’s International Day of Persons with Disabilities is ‘empowering persons with disabilities and ensuring inclusiveness and equality’.

The 2019-2023 NDSP must be designed in a way that contributes to the full realization of the promise of the 2030 Agenda and its core pledge of ‘leaving no one behind’.
